Creative director Hera Mariages in collaboration with La Mariée Bohème‘s vision came to life in this Goth/ Boho shoot which was inspired by  the juxtaposition between the Medieval atmosphere in the TV series Game of Thrones and the romantic feel of the classic Romeo and Juliet tale.

Our photographer Sophie Asselin inspired herself from the wood walls and brick fireplace of Auberge Handfield for the perfect location for this gothic yet bohemian winter wedding. The Auberge’s sugar shack was transformed into a dramatic, bohemian castle with lots of moody florals, rich fruits, and copper accents.

The bride’s lovely, long sleeved, bohemian  lace dress from Galleria della Sposa   was the perfect mix between gothic and bohemian . Hair and makeup stylist Alexia (from Kat&Lea) used pantone color of the year ‘marsala’ for the bride’s manicure and lips.

We accented  the  bride’s wavy hairstyle inspired by Cersei Lanister, with several different  gold and copper headpieces from L Montreal

For floral design, Prune les fleurs chose tones of rich reds, deep purples with pantone color of the year Marsala and adding adding pops of fuchsia to create a vibrant yet moody color palette. Prune accented the delicate flowers with moss and coniferous branches and leaves for an organic, winter touch.
